The Very Hungry Caterpillar was one of my favourite books when I was a child and my daughter seems to adore it just as much as me. We have read it together since she was very little and has helped her with her counting and learning about the amazing life of a caterpillar. Now the timeless classic has been made into a stage show and I am running a competition to WIN a family ticket for four to the opening day on 2nd December at 2pm at The Ambassadors theatre in London.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by author and illustrator Eric Carle, was first published in 1969 and has sold more than 41 million copies worldwide. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the critically-acclaimed production, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show’ features a menagerie of 75 lovable puppets, adapting four of Eric Carle’s stories: the Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show’ will be in London’s West End from 2 December 2016 to 7 January 2017 at The Ambassadors Theatre. For more information visit: www.hungrycaterpillarshow.com or www.facebook.com/hungrycaterpillarshow
Suitable for children aged 2-7. Running time: 60 minutes. Buggy parking available
