Considering how many Julia Donaldson books have been adapted for the stage, it’s hard to believe Zog hasn’t had his own theatre show – until now!
How would you like to be one of the first to see the Zog, the studious dragon on stage? The theatre production is debuting at the Rose Theatre Kingston before going on a UK tour – and I have a family ticket to give away!
The show – based on the book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler – is brought to you by Freckle Productions. The company is behind the stage adaptations of Donaldson’s books Tabby McTat, Tiddler and Stick Man. We’ve seen the latter three times (an indication of how much we love it)! I’m confident Zog is going to be just as good.
To celebrate Zog’s arrival on stage, I have a family ticket (4 tickets) to give away to a performance at the Rose Theatre Kingston! Tickets can be redeemed at performances from Thursday 14 – Sunday 17 February 2019. If your children are fans of Zog then you don’t want to miss out. See the show times here.
To enter, click the Rafflecopter widget below, enter your details and follow the instructions. There are several options and chances to win. Good luck! The competition ends at 11.59pm on 10th February.
After Zog’s appearances in Kingston, he’ll be flying to theatres across the UK to showcase his talents – see if it’s coming to a theatre near you.
He never gives up!
Absolutely! A great moral in there!
Love reading this with my daughter and off course Zog is very cure according to my daughter
His determination. 🙂
Absolutely!
I love how accident prone he is as he reminds me a bit of myself lol.
How much my 2 boys love him
My favourite thing about Zog himself is that he keeps trying and trying.
My favourite thing about the story is the strong character of the princess -not the usual waiting for prince charming
He’s accident prone, just like me. 🙂
It’s a great message that he gives up fighting and goes off to be a flying doctor’s crew (thanks to the awesome Princess Pearl)!
I love the Princess character and her message of helping others instead of harming them.
He perseveres and eventually achieves his dream 🙂 I also love how Princess Pearl aspires to be a doctor
I can so associate with his personality, so determine, just like me and one of my sons.
I like that he is willing to make unexpected friends and stays loyal to them.
He gets things wrong but always tries again!
I love his name the most!
