Seeing a children’s book or favourite character brought to life on stage can be a magical experience. My daughter and I have seen a number of productions together: The Gruffalo, Stick Man and The Very Hungry Caterpillar to name a few. Not only have they entranced both Mrs T and Cheeky, I have been hugely impressed with the quality.
We have seen the Tall Stories stage show of The Gruffalo twice and are looking forward to seeing it again at Richmond Theatre this month. It’s a must-see for any fans of the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
This summer Richmond Theatre is also showing a thrilling new adaptation of E. Nesbit’s classic novel The Railway Children. I loved the iconic 1970 movie starring Jenny Agutter and Bernard Cribbins and can’t wait to see the new production of the coming-of-age story.
The good news is, you can too! I’m giving away two tickets to Richmond Theatre’s The Gruffalo on Friday August 18th at 1.30pm AND two tickets to The Railway Children on Tuesday August 29 at 7pm.
Just click on the widgets below and follow the simple instructions. Each production has a separate competition. You can enter to win tickets for both shows and enter multiple times by completing the different options. You need to be available for the performances. The winners will be able to collect the tickets at the book office on the day. Good luck!
