I’ve just discovered another wonderful spot on this globe. The Algarve in Portugal. I know I am a bit late to the party but autumn half-term marked my first visit to the region. I was bowled over by how relaxing it was and in awe of the wide sandy beaches. It was a fabulous family trip.
The holiday was quite different from our late summer Scandinavian road-trip which was packed full of sight-seeing and cities. The Swedish capital, Stockholm, was one of our stops and for this week’s City Tripping linky, I am linking up one of my must-see sights in the Swedish capital, the Vasa Museum, where the remains of a 17th century battle ship lie. Not something I necessarily would have rushed to see but having read great reviews from some of you City Tripping linkers, I knew I had to go, so thanks guys!
As we mentioned last time, next week is the 1st anniversary of City Tripping. Happy birthday to all of us! To celebrate, and thank everyone who’s linked up over the past 12 months, we’re going to be giving away some very lovely travel prizes. Drum roll…! Come back and find out what next Tuesday.
In the meantime, onto our favourites from last week.

How To Join In
– Link up one post – old or new.
– Please add the City Tripping badge to the bottom of the post or link back to either Mummytravels.com or Wan
– Posts must be about your travel experiences in a city – any city, from reviews of days out to longer breaks.
– Please share the linky love and comment on the two hosts’ linked posts and at least two others which take your fancy, using #citytripping so everyone knows where you’re visiting from
