It isn’t long before we go on the road again (literally). We are embarking on another road trip to France with a cheeky stop in Italy for a few days. The big difference this time is….we will be going as a family of FOUR rather than three. Yes, it will be our youngest daughter’s first overseas trip. The passport is sorted. There is just the small matter of packing to take care of now. Thank goodness we have a large boot but even so – little babies do require a fair bit of baggage, don’t they? That is despite our best efforts to pack light! I’ll be covering our trip on Instagram and Facebook so follow me there to get the latest on how are coping!
Onto this week’s City Tripping then. Thank you again to everyone who linked up last week and welcome to some of the new linkers who joined in. Great to have you. Here are Cathy and I’s top picks from last week – do check them out if you haven’t already.
Sagrada Familia, Barcelona: 15 Years On – Lou Messugo
A Guide to London for First-Timers – Caifornia Globetrotter
Munich And Me – Wyld Family Travel
Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen – Life Long Holiday
As promised last week, we are going to start giving a shout out to the blogger who was the most prolific commenter. Last week it was Tanja from Red Phone Box Travels!
Thank you to everyone for their support. As well as sharing and commenting on your posts, we will also be pinning them on our City Tripping Pinterest board so if you need any more city inspiration, be sure to check it out and follow our Pinterest board featuring past posts. What Is City Tripping?
City Tripping is the place to come and link up your city-related travel posts. We want to find out the best of things to do and see in the city, any city in the world, whether you are travelling as a family, a couple or with friends or it’s your home turf. It could be a day out, a review of an attraction, long weekend or sharing your best insider info and hidden gems – as long as it is city-related travel.
How To Join In
– Link up one post – old or new. This week it is over with Cathy at MummyTravels
– Please add the City Tripping badge to the bottom of the post or link back to either Mummytravels.com or Wan
– Posts must be about your travel experiences in a city – any city, from reviews of days out to longer breaks.
– Please share the linky love and comment on the two hosts’ linked posts and at least two others which take your fancy, using #citytripping so everyone knows where you’re visiting from
– Tweet us your links @wander_mum and @
– We’ll be sharing your posts elsewhere on social media – we’d love it if you wanted to follow us there too: Wander Mum (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram
– The City Tripping linky will go live every Tuesday morning until 23.55pm on Thursday and will alternate between MummyTravels and myself. We’ll be sharing our favourites every week too.
Thanks for the shout out! 🙂

Haha – yes, I have no idea how we are going to fit everything in the car!
Thanks so much for favouriting my post, I’m glad you liked it. I don’t have any city posts to link up this week as I’m concentrating on beaches at the moment. I wonder where you’re going in France, if you’d booked Lou Messugo you wouldn’t have to take all that baby paraphernalia, we provide it all! Maybe next time! If you’re anywhere on the Riviera please do get in touch (and do check out my guide to the local beaches).

Hey Phoebe, I actually looked into Lou Messugo to see if we could come stay but it didn’t quite fit in – we aren’t going to be beach unfortunately. We are going to Provence though spending some time in Uzes area…That’s great you have all the baby stuff! Makes a difference! Looks forward to reading about the beaches.
We get booked up early in high season (usually around January) but not so far in advance at other times of year. August 2017 is already full! You’ll have a great time around Uzès, it’s beautiful.

Wow! You are super popular – that’s amazing! We are going to be restricted by school holidays soon which is a bit annoying. Looking forward to Uzes and exploring some more places in the region.
Enjoy the trip! Will be intrigued to see how you find travelling with a baby the second time. Although after meeting your gorgeous youngest, she seems a very chilled out little wanderer.

Thanks Cathy, it has been interesting with the two a couple of bumps here and there although the youngest has done a lot of sleeping – unsurprisingly. x
