Last week I ticked another London attraction off my list. The Royal Academy of Arts at Burlington House, Piccadilly, was yet another institution that had so far escaped my attention. Last week marked the opening of its famous Summer Exhibition where novices get the opportunity to exhibit their art alongside established British artists. This year marks the 250th Summer Exhibition. Isn’t that incredible? The number of Greats which have had their work displayed – and sold – is hard to comprehend. I’m linking my experience there with my two-year-old daughter to this week’s City Tripping. Looking forward to reading about your city adventures. Meanwhile, here’s Cathy’s favourites from last week.

It could be a day out, a review of an attraction, long weekend or sharing your best insider info and hidden gems – as long as it is city-related travel.
