Summer seems to have finally hit the UK! Hurrah! Being on maternity leave is SO much better when the sun shines and far more appealing to get out the house with my two-week-old daughter. This weekend she went to her first wedding! The youngest guest there, she pretty much slept through the whole thing (I forget how much newborns do that) but it meant we could catch up with some of our friends, relax and enjoy the occasion while Mrs T spent the day with her grandparents.
A big thank you to Clare at Suitcases and Sandcastles for hosting City Tripping last week. I am gradually getting back into it after the whirlwind that is birth and baby! Cathy is on hosting duties this week so pop over and add your link to her post. She has jetted off to America this week and with me still in baby mode for this week ONLY we are going to share the commenting. We will still be promoting your posts on social media though and normal service will be resumed next week.
Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Here are Clare and Cathy’s favourites.
A Bike Tour Of East Berlin – Untold Morsels
Take Your Tween To Paris – Oregon Girl Around the World

Have a read of the rules below. Don’t forget to add #citytripping to your comments so everyone know where you have come from. Looking forward to reading about your city adventures! This week I am linking up our family trip to Bologna.
What Is City Tripping?
City Tripping is the place to come and link up your city-related travel posts. We want to find out the best of things to do and see in the city, any city in the world, whether you are travelling as a family, a couple or with friends or it’s your home turf. It could be a day out, a review of an attraction, long weekend or sharing your best insider info and hidden gems – as long as it is city-related travel.
How To Join In
– Link up one post – old or new. This week it is over with Cathy at MummyTravels
– Please add the City Tripping badge to the bottom of the post or link back to either Mummytravels.com or Wan
– Posts must be about your travel experiences in a city – any city, from reviews of days out to longer breaks.
– Please share the linky love and comment on the two hosts’ linked posts and at least two others which take your fancy, using #citytripping so everyone knows where you’re visiting from
– Tweet us your links @wander_mum and @
– We’ll be sharing your posts elsewhere on social media – we’d love it if you wanted to follow us there too: Wander Mum (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram
– The City Tripping linky will go live every Tuesday morning until 23.55pm on Thursday and will alternate between MummyTravels and myself. We’ll be sharing our favourites every week too.
