I love taking photos. My phone is filled to the brim with travel pictures and family photos while my laptop and external hard drive are similarly jam-packed. The problem is the majority of my photos stay there, hidden. I love sharing pictures here and on my Instagram page but I do lack physical copies. So when I was recently contacted by Canvas Design to review one of its products, I seized the opportunity.
I wasn’t familiar with the brand but I’m a big fan of canvas prints with a few already adorning the walls of our home – two from our wedding day – seven years ago! Clearly we were in need of something more recent! I decided to choose one of the photos taken during our Splento shoot. It is a photo of the whole family, with our eyes open (for a change) and we’re all smiling (well, pretty much).
My canvas was swiftly dispatched. When it arrived a couple of days later, it was very well packaged to protect against damage. As I unwrapped it I was a little nervous as to how it would look but I was not disappointed. In fact, I was very impressed. The print was of a very good quality with the colours popping out at me.
I was particularly impressed with the solid pine frame it was mounted on. The print even came with fixtures, two nails to put in the wall and a large metal one to help hang the picture which fitted perfectly into the wooden groove of the frame.
I am very happy with my ‘classic canvas’ print which was in the size 16″x 12″ (40 x 30cm) and I would definitely use Canvas Design again. Its prices are very competitive (my would have cost just £19.99) but there is not a compromise on the quality. To get even better value, there is currently a discount code giving 20% off – just put DISCO20 in at checkout.
It has been great to add the print to my wall and I love looking up at it in my lounge and seeing our faces smiling back at me. I just need to tackle to rest of the travel and family photos residing on my devices!
A canvas print is a wonderful gift to have in your home and it’s not too late to get a Christmas present for somebody! Last orders to guarantee delivery before Christmas is 23rd December.
